Seminar Abroad:

Local and International Students

The Himalayan Study Abroad Program recognizes the value of study abroad in a variety of forms to give students the maximum benefit, which includes engaging students in hands-on projects such as the setting up of the  ecological monitoring lab, as well  as exposing them to sustainable development activities during the hill tour.

In addition, the Seminar Abroad component of this study abroad program presents our undergraduates  with an opportunity to share their Fall Semester classroom research work with the local student group in Nepal.  In an informal interactive session, students from two cultures  will spend one  afternoon sharing their research work and co-learning from each other.
